Faculty member in our Department Prof. Dr. Qusay Fadel Abdul Hamid the director of the Technology Research Unit and  in collaboration with Asst. Prof. Dr. Fares Hamoudi and Lect. Dr. Arshad Ammar from the Building and Construction Engineering Department, had published a research titled: "A new Sponge-GAC-Sponge membrane module for submerged membrane bioreactor use in hospital wastewater treatment" in Biochemical Engineering Journal / Elsevier Publisher with a 2.8-impact factor on the Thomson Reuter scale, which is related to the treatment of waste generated from hospitals using a global innovative method.
