The Logo of the department contains the name of both the department and the University in Arabic and English languages and the year of foundation of the department (1975). At the middle of the slogan there is also a flask as an indication for the chemistry which contains a schematic drawing of distillation column as it was considered as the most common equipment in chemical engineering processes, in addition there is a notched circle as an indication for the link of the department with a wide variety of industrial processes. |
