Chemical Process Engineering - M.Sc

The specialization of chemical process engineering is considered one of the important specialties in the industry because it contributes to preparing engineers with higher degrees (i.e., master's degree) in all industrial fields. The graduates from this major will be qualified to supervise factories and plants in the private and public sectors. Not only this, but they will also set up the production plans and design the equipment that involves developing and enhancing the quantity and quality of the product.
In the first year of master's study, the student will study chemical engineering subjects such as fluid flow, heat transfer, mass transfer, thermodynamics, reactor design, and chemical processes modeling. Inaadtion to these subjects, the master student can also study optional subjects. The department determines these optional subjects. Moreover, the student takes the English language class, which will improve her/his scientific writing ability, such as writing a thesis or scientific articles.
In the second year of master's study, the student will choose the topic of her/his research among the topics introduced by the department's faculty members. The department provides all the capabilities to conduct student research, such as the experimental setups and materials and the most recent references.
